Health and Society Research Fund seeks research proposals
The Health and Society Research Fund has a total of $6.1 million per annum invested in research.
Of this, approximately $2.6 million per annum will be available for investment in new programmes, commencing in October 2012.
This Request for Proposals sets out the research questions that align with the investment priorities detailed in the Health and Society Sector Investment Plan.
The objective of the Health and Society Fund is to increase understanding of the social and economic factors contributing to improved health and social wellbeing of New Zealanders.
The Fund supports science and innovation that benefits New Zealand, and international collaboration will be supported where this is relevant and of benefit to the objectives of the Fund.
